How deep does the underground run need to be?

PVC conduit goes in at 500mm minimum depth under garden, deeper under driveway. We use a proper warning tape over the conduit so the next person digging knows the cable is there.

Do I need three-phase in a shed?

Only if you're running gear that needs it: bigger welders, industrial compressors, certain dust collectors and machine tools. Single-phase is enough for most home workshops. We'll ask what you'll plug in before quoting.

Can you do the lighting design too?

Yes. We'll lay out the lighting positions to match how you actually use the space. Workbench lights over the bench, general lighting for the floor, outside lights at doors. No more squinting in your own shed.

What about a sub-board vs running circuits from the house board?

Almost always a sub-board. It means you can isolate the whole shed at one switch, you've got room to add circuits later, and you don't fill up the house board with shed circuits.
